Our 1st photo from Kazakhstan of Joshua Roman.We've been reflecting on the last year and all that's happened in such a short time. Many people don't know that on February 6, 2007 we got the "call." The call with the joyous news that changed our lives forever. The news that there was a precious little boy waiting for us in Uralsk, KZ. Who was just 5 months old. Who we knew was our son from the moment we opened the photo you now see. Who had a smile and twinkling eyes that lit up our world in that instant. Who has been a delight from the very second that we got the "call" a year ago. Who now answers "ta-da" to the question, "Do you know how amazing you are?" Who has filled our lives with new love, new life and great happiness. If you know Joshua, you know what we're talking about! He's loving, funny, independent, friendly, sweet, determined, charming, bright, curious, passionate and best of all, he's our son. Here's to the richness of life and the amazing things that can happen in just one year.
